DUST & LEAK PROOF

Fibcs have different levels of dust proof and leak proof construction in order to meet buyer’s requirements. The degree of protection needed for the product from leakage and contamination by dust depends on the environment, handling method and the kind of product in the bag. One of the most popular methods for providing protection to the bags is using sealing strips or dustproof tapes on the body of the bags.

WITHOUT DUSTPROOF

These types of bags are stitched with just one thread and there is no dustproof tape. These are widely used for the packaging of granular products (grain cereals, recycling, pellets, etc).

SINGLE DUST PROOF

These types of bags have single stitches and a single dustproof tape, used for less risky and crystal products (crystal sugar, granuels, etc).

DOUBLE DUST PROOF

Products with leakage chances(like flour, processed cereal, quartz sand, etc) are kept in these double dustproof bags. Being the most common type, these bags have two stitches and two dustproof tapes.

TRIPLE DUST PROOF

These are meant to extra safety of products with highest leakage chances. Sewing big bags with three sealing strips. This type involves sealing with two dustproof tapes and a third dustproof tape between the fabric. It is used for milk powder, calcium carbonate, dust, chalk, starch and in cases where the bag is filled under high pressure. The third dustproof tape/ stitch can be on all seams or added only on critical seam.

BAG IN BAG/ DOUBLE BAG

These bags help to achieve similar level of dustproof as that of a bag with liner.

Double bags are a Q-Bag inside a normal jumbo bag which means having a Q-Bag but without the need of a Q-liner. The baffles may or may not have dustproof tapes.

BAGS WITH INLINERS

These bags have inliners attached and are known to provide best protection from dust and leakage. These are used for packing very powdery products  or liquid products such as liquid lime, water.
